CPD Seminar on "An Overview of the New Engineering Contract (NEC)"

The Hong Kong construction industry has typically followed traditional contract strategies. The local government has however maintained an interest and tracked the development of the NEC in the UK. Contractual partnering and collaborative working techniques are seen by many in the industry as a key step forward, with NEC seen as being at the forefront of this style of working.  The government is actively considering through various departments a series of pilot projects to use NEC. The contract consultant is working with Drainage Services Department on the first pilot project and Highways Department of Hong Kong SAR Government on the second pilot project.
